Retention period

Also called Link retention, Post duration.

How long the publisher commits to keep a placement live after the paid window ends.

Central to link and sponsored-post buying, and routinely left unstated. A sponsored post quietly deleted three weeks after payment delivered a fraction of what was bought, and by the time anyone notices the campaign is closed.

Retention is what separates a placement from a rental. Ask for it as a number of days and get it in the order.

How LinkBourse handles it

Retention is declared per placement, shown in the catalogue, and enforced: checks keep running to that date, and a placement pulled early is clawed back from the seller balance rather than argued about.
