Advertising policies

Most advertising runs here without asking anyone. Eight verticals do not: MLM and get-rich-quick schemes are blocked outright, adult is off unless a publisher opts their own property in, and gambling, crypto, financial services, pharma and political advertising run once a named check passes — a licence, a registration, a disclaimer, an identity disclosure. Weapons, tobacco and alcohol follow the law of the country being targeted. The check happens before the creative goes live, which is the only time it protects anyone.

Restricted verticals

  • Adult

    Off by default

Opt-in per publisher, geo-gated, separate payout rails. Nothing runs unless the publisher opts their property in. Geo-gated and settled on separate payout rails.

  • Gambling Igaming

    Needs a check

License check required, geo-gated. Allowed once the named check passes. The check happens before the creative goes live, not after a complaint.

  • Crypto Web3

    Needs a check

Risk disclaimer required, no yield promises. Allowed once the named check passes. The check happens before the creative goes live, not after a complaint.

  • Financial Services

    Needs a check

Regulator registration check where applicable. Allowed once the named check passes. The check happens before the creative goes live, not after a complaint.

  • Pharma Health

    Needs a check

Claim review, no medical claims without source. Allowed once the named check passes. The check happens before the creative goes live, not after a complaint.

  • Political

    Needs a check

Advertiser identity disclosure, jurisdiction rules. Allowed once the named check passes. The check happens before the creative goes live, not after a complaint.

  • Weapons Tobacco Alcohol

    Country rules apply

Age gating and country rules. Allowed where the law allows it, with age gating. The buyer picks countries; the rules follow the country, not the buyer.

  • Mlm Get Rich Quick

    Not allowed

Not allowed on the platform. Cannot be advertised here at all. Listings are removed and orders refunded.

Rules that apply to everyone

Contact details stay on the platform until an order exists

Emails, phone numbers, messenger handles and outside links are masked in chat and in briefs before they are stored — the unmasked text is never written to the database. This is not about lock-in: a deal taken off-platform loses escrow, and the person who loses the money in that arrangement is almost never the one who suggested it. Once an order is funded, the parties exchange whatever they need to.

The publisher approves the creative

No ad runs on somebody’s audience without the owner seeing it first. A publisher can reject a creative with a reason, and a rejected creative does not consume the booking — the advertiser submits another.

Listings that promise a guaranteed outcome are held

A ranking guarantee, a follower count, a promised conversion rate: these are claims about someone else’s system, and no seller controls them. Listings making one are held for review rather than published, and the seller is told which sentence caused it.

Traffic that is not human is not paid for

Bots, link previews, prefetches and repeat views by the same reader on the same day are recorded with a named reason and excluded from billable delivery. The publisher sees exactly what was filtered and why; a number that quietly shrinks with no explanation is how measurement disputes start.

Reviews follow completed orders only

A review can only be written by a party to an order that finished, and both sides write before either sees the other. There is no way to buy a review here because there is no way to write one without a funded order behind it.

Questions

Can I advertise a gambling or crypto product?

Yes, once the gate passes. Gambling needs a licence check and runs geo-gated; crypto needs a risk disclaimer and cannot promise yields. The check happens before the campaign goes live.

Why was my listing held for review?

Because it contains a guaranteed outcome, contact details, or a restricted vertical without the corresponding gate. The hold names the reason, and an edited listing is re-screened immediately rather than waiting in a queue.

What happens if a buyer sends a creative that breaks policy after booking?

The publisher rejects it at the approval step and the flight does not start. Escrowed money is untouched until something actually runs, so a rejected creative costs the advertiser time, not money.

Does LinkBourse read private messages?

Messages are screened automatically for contact details and stored masked. They are read by a person only when an order is disputed, and then only the thread attached to that order — which is also what the evidence pack contains.
